This 4-day Tanzania lodge safari itinerary takes you to two of the most famous national parks in Tanzania: Tarangire and Serengeti. You will see a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and more. You will also have the opportunity to see some of Tanzania’s most beautiful landscapes, including the Ngorongoro Crater and the vast plains of the Serengeti. Staying at lodges throughout the safari ensures that you will have a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire: Your 4-day Tanzanian safari begins with an early morning departure from Arusha. Your expert safari guide will pick you up and set off on a 2-3 hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Here, you’ll be treated to breathtaking landscapes, iconic Baobab trees, and the chance to spot large herds of elephants and other diverse wildlife during a full-day game drive. After a day of adventure, you’ll head to Karatu for a peaceful evening and a delicious dinner at your accommodation.
Day 2: Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro: Rise early for a hearty breakfast in Karatu, and then embark on a thrilling journey towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, you might catch glimpses of the Maasai tribespeople and their unique culture. The next highlight is a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for a game drive in this exceptional natural wonder, known for supporting the Big Five. Afterward, continue your journey to the renowned Serengeti National Park, offering stunning views and wildlife encounters en route. You’ll spend the night in the central Serengeti, ensuring prime access to the park’s abundant wildlife.
Day 3: Full Day Serengeti National Park: Make the most of a full day in the Serengeti National Park, one of the world’s most iconic safari destinations. Explore the diverse landscapes of the Serengeti and enjoy game drives that may reveal lions, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests, among other wildlife. A packed lunch in the heart of the Serengeti allows you to immerse yourself in the African wilderness. As the day draws to a close, return to your central Serengeti accommodation for a restful evening and a sumptuous dinner.
Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro National Park: After breakfast,at youraccommodation place you will start to drive to the Ngorongoro Crater for game drive. Enjoy last game drive in the Crater, maximizing your wildlife viewing opportunities. After game drive drive back to Arusha, where you can choose to be dropped off at your accommodation or to the Airport. This safaris provides an unforgettable experience, showcasing Tanzania’s rich biodiversity and natural beauty of Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Passenger Information
- Passengers should bring only duffle bags safaris{not suitcases}
- All the passengers must have Identification Card/Passport with them for internal flights.
- Baggage on domestic flights is strictly limited to 15kgs per person (including hand luggage). Any excess baggage will be charged by the airline at check-in.
- Passengers arriving to Tanzania may be asked to present a valid Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate
- Tourist Visa will be obtained at the entry points, but it is advisable to double check before travelling to Tanzania.
